Our Shared Table
Every other month, we gather to introduce a new cookbook through a live demonstration led by Communion’s team of chefs. Together, we taste, learn, and explore the heart of the book — then take it home for two months of cooking, experimenting, and making the recipes our own and gathering at our midpoint for a potluck to share our insights and experiences.
When we reconvene, the table opens again. We share what we loved, what we adapted, what surprised us — and the stories that unfolded along the way. No perfection required. Just curiosity, conversation, and connection.

Our first selection is By Heart by Hailee Catalano, a cookbook rooted in memory, technique, and the quiet joy of cooking with intention. Because this book club includes demonstrations and food is provided, we need an accurate headcount and there is a cost involved. Seating is limited to 25 people, so make sure to reserve your spot. This month, The Book Was Better takes on one of literature’s most passionate—and polarizing—love stories. Join us as we read Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights and compare it to its latest film adaptation, releasing February 13.

Mocktails & Vision Boards
Join Through the Fold and Paradis for an evening of mocktails, creativity, and vision-setting. We’ll begin with a hands-on mocktail class led by Paradis, where you’ll learn how to craft a beautiful, balanced drink perfect for Dry January and beyond. You’ll enjoy a bite to eat, then settle in to create your 2026 vision board, using thoughtfully curated materials designed to help you reflect, imagine, and plan.

Paradis Wine Club Pick-Up Party
Wine Club Pick-up Parties are at Paradis the first Thursday of the month. Come sip on complimentary pours while you pick up the month’s selections. If you cannot attend the pick-up party, feel free to pick up your wine anytime after that date during Paradis business hours.
Paella & Jamon Iberico Night
Paella and Iberico Jamon on the same night! Join us in our Paradis courtyard for either live hand-carving of Jamón , live cooking of Paella, or BOTH! Jamon is served with pan con tomate, manchego and a glass of sangria or wine, and Paella is served with salad, bread, and a glass of sangria or wine for $52. Option to order a half portion of each, or an additional plate of either will be available on the day of the event.
